Privacy notice

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Before publishing: review this starter notice against your actual business setup, hosting provider, retention practices and contact details. This page is a practical draft, not legal advice.

Who is responsible?

The intended operator is Callum Pearson, trading as Northwards Revenue. For personal information submitted through the website, the operator would generally be the data controller. Confirm the trading name and contact route before launch.

What information may be collected?

The enquiry form asks for your name, company, work email address, optional company website, area of interest and message. Please do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential commercial material through the form.

How is information used?

Enquiry information is used to respond to your message, assess whether the services may be relevant and manage any follow-up you request. The appropriate UK GDPR lawful basis should be assessed for the actual processing, including taking steps at your request before a potential contract and, where applicable, legitimate interests.

Hosting and service providers

The form is configured for Netlify Forms and will only work after suitable deployment and testing. Confirm the hosting and form-processing arrangements, provider terms, access controls and any international data transfers before collecting real enquiries. The site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts, which can cause a visitor's browser to contact Google's servers. You can self-host the font if you prefer to reduce third-party requests.

How long is information kept?

Set and follow a retention period based on the purpose of the enquiry and any relevant legal or business requirements. Delete information when it is no longer needed, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, people may have rights to access, correct or erase their personal information, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To make a request, use the website contact form and write “Privacy request” in the message. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes

This notice should be updated if the business, website, data collected, service providers or processing purposes change.
